BLENHEIM CHURCH: Blenheim News: We give thanks to God for all his good blessings. Earlier this summer we experienced a good wheat harvest and currently we see beans, tomatoes and other crops being harvested. It is truly humbling to see how God provides again each and every year. We continue to pray for Cor and Johanna B. as they live with Cor's cancer. We also pray for Jody Palmer and Ida V. who have been suffering with back pain. We pray and hope that they will be able to resume their regular routines. We also think of Margaret V. as she continues to deal with her pain.
FIRST CHURCH: We express our Christian sympathy to the S. family with the passing of Patricia S.; may God provide comfort and care during this time of grief. The funeral service took place on Friday morning. Grace V. continues to be under doctor’s care, after falling several times. It seems that her walking is very unstable.
On this Thanksgiving weekend, praise God for healthy bodies and minds, and remember those whose circumstances warrant our prayers and visits.
Happy Birthday to Mr. Jerry Y. who is turning 89 and to Mrs. Henny L. who is turning 83, both today. Mrs. Leida V.is turning 78 on October 10; Mr. John V. is turning 78 on October 12, and Mr Jack H. from Ann who is turning 77 on October 12. Have a wonderful day of celebration!
GRACE CHURCH: On this Thanksgiving Weekend we would like to acknowledge and thank God for his continued blessings in our lives. We have an abundance of food, warm homes, clothes on our backs, jobs, medical care, family, and friends, as well as freedom to profess our faith. Let’s remember those around the world who do not have these things and may we in our plenty give to those in need.
Happy Birthday to Don V. who is tuning 44 on the 11th! Have a wonderful birthday celebration Don!
