PRAYER LIST

TO ALL CHURCHES:   From Agnes H.:  Thank you for all your prayerful support while I was in the hospital.  As I've experienced God's loving presence I'm confident I will experience His goodness also in the weeks and months ahead.  I thank God for your love, prayers, cards, visits and encouragement.

CALVARY CHURCH:  We continue to pray for our friends who serve as missionaries in international schools - Bill and Diana Steele in Korea, and Tony and Mary D. in Haiti. Each of them have daily prayer needs. We want to uphold those who are blessed with pregnancy and those who wish to be. As well, there are those who experience loss and absence as a daily reality - we wish you God's nearness and strength.

FIRST CHURCH:  We express our Christian sympathy to the family of Grace B. who passed away this past Monday (the funeral took place yesterday), and to Ann and Jack L. with the sudden passing of Ann’s sister Susie S.  May God strengthen and comfort you during this difficult time of grief.  Pray for Jackie L. and Al H. as they continue to receive treatment for cancer.  Pray that healing may take place!  Grace V. was able to return home where she continues to recuperate. We also want to remember our shut-ins: Tina F., Joanne S., Patricia S., Margaret O., Cor DeV., Annie H., Brian M. &Tina V.  A very happy birthday this week to Mr. Fred P. that turns 77 tomorrow.

GRACE CHURCH: Kathie D. is happy to share with us the news that her brother Fred and his wife Trudy were blessed with a baby boy, Ethan Charles Rudolph.  Congratulations to Kathie on being an aunt.  We pray for God’s blessings on this gift of new life.  Congratulations to Sjouk S. who is turning 85, and to Melvin V. who is turning 74, both on February 5.  We wish you both God’s blessings!
