PASTOR’S COMMENT:

If you have ever flown in an airplane and looked out the window, you will likely have been enraptured by the clear view and the vast landscape in one quick glance.  What we see, however, is but a miniscule portrait of how our all-seeing God views his creation and his creatures.  In fact, God sees more than what is going on; he sees what will happen in the future.  Since God knows our future perfectly, and how our everyday events fit into his plan, we can rely on him every moment of every day, throughout this coming year.  And the best part is that he cares for us and loves us so much that nothing will escape his notice.

Adult Education: Pastor Jack will be offering an 8-week class on the book of James.  This practical epistle of the New Testament raises the question, “How do I express my religious beliefs in today’s world?”  James says, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
