PASTOR’S COMMENT:

Waiting is not one of my virtues.  I don’t like line-ups: in the bank, in a doctor’s office, or on congested highways.  My patience runs thin when people don’t show up for appointments.  But that said, I am also keenly aware that God might just have a season of waiting in mind for me so that he can teach me patience before he sends me blessings.  Recall how on the stormy Sea of Galilee, God taught his disciples to trust in Him with not only the ‘big’ concerns of life, but also our everyday experiences?  In each circumstance Jesus teaches us to wait on his outstretched arm. (cf. Psalm 37:5)
