TODAY: Pastor Jack will reflect on Isaiah 9:1-7, “To Us A Child Is Born.”  Next Sunday we will turn to Isaiah 7, “What Sign Do You Seek?”  In the evening we continue with our Advent series by turning to Lord’s Day 13, John 8:31-41, “His Grace Will Set You Free.”

PASTOR’S COMMENT:

Did you know that God designed all of creation to the praise of his glory?  Everything God created bears witness to his power and love.  On these cooler, November nights, step outside and look up into the clear sky.  You cannot count the thousands of stars; but in that moment, your feelings of awe are bound to well up inside so that you are unable to speak.  Yes, the stars too, are an echo of praise to God.  How much more those who are created in his image…

Sunday December 4 – London Campus Ministry: carries out its work for the purpose of sharing God’s redemptive plan in Jesus Christ with the students and faculty.  Christian Reformed Campus Ministry in London, Ontario began at University of Western Ontario in 1970 but is now part of CRC Home Missions.

FROM THE FELLOWSHIP COMMITTEE: Sunday Morning the 27th we will have an after church light lunch.  With you all bringing your favourite  finger foods  such as  cheese and cracker plates,  fruit plates, veggie trays etc..  Thank You

 

Notice from the Treasurer: Please take note that donations to be credited to the year 2011 will be accepted through Sunday December 25th, 2011. Donations received after December 25, 2011 whether collection or budget or other donations, will be credited to the year 2012. This is to allow the counting committee sufficient time to complete their tasks before the end of the year.

 

New Pew Bibles: Next week we will have new NIV pew Bibles; there will be a number of large print Bibles available in the foyer.  Please return them to the table after the services.  It is expected that the old Bibles will be sent to a mission.

 

Outreach Committee: will be meeting this Monday evening at 7 PM.

 

Education Committee: will be meeting this Wednesday evening at 7 PM
